Spooky Night! On Wednesday, October 12th, 2016, the Beeman Title 1 Teachers hosted our second annual Spooky Story Night. This night was a big success! Kindergarten through second grade students were invited to come listen to some spooky stories read to them by some wonderful teachers! The K-1 spooky dark hallway was enjoyed by all. Activities set up in the gym for students to enjoy while eating some donuts and cider! Prizes, including pumpkins, where raffled off. With parent feedback we hope to host a third Spooky Story Night next year!

Living Blue Demonstration NightOn Tuesday, June 7, Beeman held its Living Blue Demonstration Night. Students had the opportunity to show their families what they have been up to in school. Our theme this year was 'Make the World a Better Place' taken from the inspirational book, Only One You, by Linda Kranz. Beeman's art teacher, Ms. Pierterse, filled the hallways with beautiful student artwork. We had the chance to meet and chat with the author, Linda Kranz. During the day Ms. Kranz met with grade levels. Students picked her brain about how she became an author. Ms. Kranz also held a book signing. A big thank you to NOAA for once again sharing their knowledge of the ocean and hands-on materials ...
